Although quieter tourism is the biggest industry followed buy animal herding and olive growing. It is not quite as noisy as many of the others even though it has a population in excess of 45,000. I mean that it is exactly what you would expect from the Greek islands with one exception. I am not putting it down by saying that. Kefalonia is an average Greek island.
