Many trails lead you to all corners of this park and shelters The Park is located on a gentle slope with many species of plants and flowers. Located on Route 50, Cathedral State Park is sprawled in 133 acres. Many trails are found here making hiking very popular here.

During hunting season (October to February), try wearing vivid orange clothes with hiker shoes. When going to Coopers Rock State Park wear clothes according to prevailing season at the park. It is located near North Bend Rail Trail, stretching 72 miles and passing through scenic vistas. Recreational activities are found in abundance.

Tygart Lake State Park offers water related activities along with land sports to its visitors. Visitors might have fun at toboggan run which has a tow rope and a warming hut. West Virginia's heaviest snow occurs here making it a paradise for people who love sports on snow. Out door people just love coming here.

Where to Go in West VirginiaScenic beauty of Blackwater Falls State Park lies in deep snow falls in winter, multi-colors of falls and wildflowers in spring. A weekly event schedule is available at campsites. Trails provide an insight into abundance of wildlife that is present in its forest. Cedar Creek State Park offers recreational activities along with many games. Mother Nature has carved a pool from river where you can swim and a 1900's constructed gristmill still exists here.

This park has an excellent view, but best view is from broad walk on cave's ledge. People who love the outdoors should come to Audra State Park with River Middle Fork surrounded by marvelous forest. Also in this state is Extreme Expeditions, famous for water rafting on two of the best whitewater rivers, River Gauley and River New. You will find Organ Cave in West Virginia which is the longest cave of in the USA with 40 miles of passageways.
